The Pozez Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Northern Virginia provides a broad range of activities and opportunities for people of all ages, abilities, ethnicities, faiths, and backgrounds to engage in community activities. This multi-phased project included a dynamic new fitness center addition with an outdoor cross training zone, as well as renovations to existing the locker rooms and other specialty fitness areas, indoor pool alterations, and a new more welcoming and secure building entrance canopy.

Additionally, Ritter Norton Architects consulted on building-wide energy efficiency modernization and the re-design of outdoor playgrounds. The team worked closely with “the J” staff, membership committees, surrounding community groups, and the County to develop a consensus design that met all stakeholders needs and aspirations for the project.
