ANNE BOLEN

OFFICE MANAGER

After 27 years in the museum, archive, and preservation world, Anne joined Ritter Norton Architects as office manager. Anne skillfully manages administrative details so that the design professionals can practice to their full potential. Anne’s first exposure and interest in architecture was the coloring she did at her grandfather’s drafting table. Her love for history and design led her to Washington, DC at George Washington University to pursue her M.A. in Museum Studies. Her passion for the physical management of museum collections earned her a training fellowship with the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to become an expert in the care of museum objects, storage design, and all of that hyper-detailed paperwork that keeps the myriad balls rolling in any institution. Anne’s passion is to seek connection with history via the study and understanding of how communities lived in the world through their homes, structures and cultures which expressed their lifelong experiences.
